The cavitation resistance of FeMnCrSi experimental alloys applied and studied by different spraying techniques, such as Arc-Spray Process (ASP) and different High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) processes. In previous works, the evaluation of these alloys was done regarding only the erosion by cavitation resistance. In this work, FeMnCrSi alloy has been sprayed onto carbon steel substrate by Cold Gas Spraying (CGS) process using different spraying parameters (N 2 work gas pressure and temperature). Friction wear resistance had been evaluated by Ball on Disk testing, ASTM G99. The results of the FeMnCrSi deposited at 1000°C indicated lower coefficient of friction than the reference materials, that consisted of bulks 316L and carbon steel, together with a CGS 316L coating.
