AccurasprayHub: Leveraging AI and Machine Learning to Define and Optimize Process Windows in Thermal Spray Operations
Tecnar has developed the AccurasprayHub, a software solution that uses machine learning and AI to optimize thermal spray processes. Traditionally, these processes relied on human expertise, with operators making adjustments based on experience. With skilled labor in decline, Tecnar aims to automate this expertise.
AccurasprayHub leverages data, including spray parameters, sensor readings, coating properties, and equipment data, to define precise process windows. Through a learning phase, the system refines these processes, improving accuracy and confidence levels. The next phase will focus on predictive maintenance and automated adjustments, further reducing human intervention.
After a year-long trial with an aerospace industry partner, Phase 1 of the AccurasprayHub is now commercially available, offering accurate process window definition and laying the groundwork for future automation in thermal spray operations.
