Plasma Sprayed Beryllium High Heat Flux Component Fabrication and Testing

K. J. Hollis, B. D. Bartram, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM

View in WORD format

Summary: This work involves fabricating and testing of plasma sprayed beryllium components for use in magnetic confinement fusion energy experiments for components that are the first surface to come in contact with the hot hydrogen plasma. This technique is suited for initial fabrication or repair of future experiments such as the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).
