Summary: This research has studied the wear behaviors of some hard coating materials including flame-sprayed, sintered and HVOF sprayed coatings by means of Coriolis wear testing and microscopic examination. The effects of parameters including carbide concentration/distribution,porosity and grain size on wear of the tested materials have been discussed.
