Three elements, nickel, carbon and oxygen influence very much the direct and reverse martensitic transformations temperatures shifting to lower values as their contents increase as shown by some previous works and scarce data presented in the literature. Also carbon and oxygem also influence the cold workability such as in wire drawing process becoming worse as their contents increase. This work will analyse the effect of carbon and oxygen content on the other parameters such as shape recovery and vibration damping capabilities varying nickel, carbon and oxygen content.
