The Ti-50.2Ni-5Zr (at%) high temperature shape memory alloy plate fabricated by the casting process using powder metallurgy (P/M) ingot was studied. Tests specimens were cast by lost-wax process from the ingot. Specimens were heat treated at 673K for 3.6ks followed by water quenching. The shape memory characteristics of lost-wax process were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), and the tensile test. Casting specimens have good shape memory behavior.
