Synchron developed the Stentrode (a thin film Nitinol endovascular stent with electrodes) to be delivered to the venous system of the brain. This technology records brain activity which is then converted to signals and used for brain computer interface algorithms to enable and improve communication with the external world for severely paralyzed patients. This presentation will share the results of the phase I first in human trial in Australia.
