The global Covid crisis and the subsequent disruptions in global supply chains have shown us the vulnerability of the single-source strategies that frequently occur in medical technology industry. The war that broke out in Europe shortly after the Covid crisis and the resulting additional strain on raw materials markets has made the situation even worse.

What possibilities are there for medical technology that deals with the development, production and distribution of products made from Nitinol to position itself more crisis-proof? How can the strict requirements of the approval authorities and the security of delivery for patients be taken into account at the same time?

The panel discusses the different ways to approach this complex topic.
