Nonlinear Interval Model Control of Double Sided Arc Welding Process

B. Losch, Y. Zhang, University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY

View in PDF format

Summary: Double Sided Arc Welding process provides unique advantages. A nonlinear model was chosen to represent its dynamics with uncertain but bounded parameters. A number of experiments were carried out to determine the interval for each parameter. Experiments were run to verify the validity and robustness of the interval model control.
