Summary: Underwater wet welding process used mainly to assist the petrolium industry, in platforms, pipelines and also hydroelectric power plants repairs. One fact no yet reported in the literature is the behavior of fatigue resistance of wet welds tested in aquatic ambient in the presence of hydrostatic pressure.
