Summary: This paper presents work on the diffusion bonding of two ferritic oxide dispersion strengthened alloys, MA956 and PM2000. The paper contrasts bonds conducted with the substrate orientation parallel and perpendicular to the working direction and with coarse and fine grained substrates. Bonding at an unusually low applied stress is discussed.
