Summary: Electrical low pressure impactor was used to collect fume from SMAW process and seperate fume particles by size range. Size and mass distributions were measured and extensive characterization using SEM, TEM, XPS, and XRD was completed for fume generated by E6010 and E308-16 electrodes.
