| Session Description: Cleanliness of the surface is an important process parameter that can affect the adhesion of the coating to the substrate, nature of the bonding process and, often, can influence the coating performance as well. The papers presented in this session describe various aspects of surface cleaning. One paper addresses the applicability of plasma-based processes in surface cleaning, while rest of the papers deal with the criteria for selecting suitable cleaning agents for different applications. | ||||
