Session 10: Micro/Nanoscale Tribology
Location: Marco A/B (Orlando Airport Marriott)
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: This session provides a forum for fundamental and applied research involving micro/nanoscale tribological phenomena and encompasses nanoscale tribological materials/coatings design and investigations that elucidate physical/chemical phenomena associated with tribology at small length scales. Research topics include tribology of self-assembled monolayers, thin films/coatings, adaptive/self-healing tribological coatings and surface/coating degradation mechanisms.
