Two Fires but Just One Fire Scene: A Fire That Started More Than Once

A fire took place at restaurant during the evening hours after closing. The fire was extinguished by the local fire department. As a part of this effort, the electricity and natural gas supply to the restaurant were turned off. Having determined that the fire was out, the electricity for the restaurant was restored to prevent spoilage of food not in the fire-affected area. Early in the morning of the following day another fire took place. Methods used to determine of the origin and cause of both the first and second fires will be presented and discussed.
