Quantification & Simulation of Microstructures

Monday, September 12, 2022: 1:20 PM-2:00 PM
Convention Center: 262 (Ernest N. Morial Convention Center)
The quantification and simulation of microstructures and properties continues to be an important and growing field when models are known. When models are unknown, Machine Learning takes advantage of predicting outcomes without programming. Quantification of microstructural features in both 2 and 3 dimensions can present challenges in techniques and core principals and is vital to the development of effective simulation. This session will deal with all new technologies of data analysis with microstructures and considering the current developments and trends in Machine Learning. Dr. Dominik Britz, Saarland University
