This workshop and user group meeting will allow all users of microscopy in the metals and materials industries to come together and learn about the latest innovations in the ZEISS portfolio, particularly analytical microscopy solutions in electron and X-ray microscopy.  We will also encourage all microscopy experts to share best practices and their own experiences with ZEISS and non-ZEISS microscopes, and will offer opportunities to discuss their needs one-on-one with the experts from ZEISS.

In particular, speakers from ZEISS, and academic and industry users will discuss:

  • Introduction to Microscopy for Materials Research
  • Microscopy Innovations for New Energy Materials
  • X-ray Microscopy and AI for reconstruction (in catalysts, pharmaceuticals, metals and other materials)
  • Advanced Analytical Microscopy for Metals (including in situ experiments and sweet spots)
  • Microscopy for Crystallography in 2D, 3D and 4D
  • Case Studies in Correlative Microscopy
