Session Description: Investment and functional costs are continuously increasing. It results in difficult choices about efficiency, and financial aspects that might not be reached by service lab or by built-in capabilities. Common facilities could limit investment and charges for each partner and give them the advantage of fast access to a full set of costly tools. Have some FA lab already tried this solution? What are the advantages and the drawbacks? How can partners protect their IP? Are some FA labs reluctant to do it? What are the partner expectations?
