Summary: In many parts of the failure analysis process software tools are involved: Lab management using job lists, creation of report documents, handling of image files and many more. Having all these functions integrated in one single tool can greatly improve an FA lab’s working process. This paper describes the process and result of developing a dedicated FA tool for a major semiconductor company.
