| Session Description: SESSION BACKGROUND:
Engineers and scientist involved with product development and product improvement need to understand new processes and technologies available for potential application to medical device manufacturing.
SESSION FOCUS:
This session will focus on the recent developments and applications in rapid production processing of medical components and coatings, advanced near-net shape injection molding of metals and ceramics, various diffusion protective coatings for titanium alloys, and advanced electrochemical finishing techniques using water based neutral salt electrolytes.
