Characterization of alumna scale on NiCrAlY coating during isothermal oxidation at 1100oC

Y. Zhang, Shanghai university, Shanghai, China

View in WORD format

Summary: Alumna scale formed during isothermal oxidation at 1100oC on low-pressure plasma sprayed (LPPS) NiCrAlY coating was characterized. The microstructure, grain growth and fracture behavior of the alumna scale were investigated by analyses of the scale surface and fracture section.
