Summary: In today’s highly competitive environment, meticulous handling of field problems and product performance issues becomes very critical to stay in and grow coating business. In this presentation, we will present our strategy to solve various field and customer problems in paints and coating industry by utilizing a number of X-ray techniques such as EDX, XRF, and XPS. The strengths and weaknesses of each technique will be discussed in light of matrix system.
