An Investigation on Thermal Expansion Properties of MCrAlY and Zirconia Composite Coatings

A. M. Khoddami, A. Sabour, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran

View in WORD format

Summary: The MCrAlY and Ytria Stabilized Zirconia coatings were studied for interface modification, using High Velocity Oxygen Fuel and Atmospheric Plasma Spray process. For composite coatings, two powder feeders were used for deposition. The Coefficient of Thermal Expansion and microstructure characterizations of many composite coatings were measured and discussed.
