Session Description: This session covers the development, characterization, testing and performance of thermally sprayed thermal barrier coatings for use in aerospace, gas turbine and other engine applications. Topics to be covered include coating design, processing and evaluation (including process/structure/properties relationships), novel TBC architectures, coating failure and degradation mechanisms. | ||||
