Summary: Metal deposition is a new technology for manufacturing parts by depositing metal in required fashion. In this paper a method is proposed, using stand-alone off-line programming software both to generate and simulate the robot motion. Experiments were performed on a complex shaped aerospace part to validate the proposed technique.
