S001-002 The Case for Real-Time Monitoring of Clinical Trials

The presentation will focus on:

1.) Examples where real-time monitoring could have detected early on protocol violations, such as failure to adhere to eligibility criteria in the selection of subjects, and

2.) Issues concerning composition of monitoring boards, selection of board members and sources of revenue to cover costs of real-time monitoring boards.
