Objective: Highlight the importance of accurate diagnostic assessment of people living in Squalor

Results: Squalor is an world-wide phenonmenon found across all age groups but predominantly in older adults. It is likely to increase as developed nations modify the way in which mental health care is delivered.

Conclusion:This session reviews the importance of accurate diagnostic assessment of this syndrome with particular attention to frontal lobe function.
