The clinical psychiatrist conducts an interview based on a psychoanalytic approach: This allows an investigation while simultaneously mobilising the patient concerning the relationships which he/she does not spontaneously establish between an anxiety of hospitalization and other life events, current or past. This dynamic interest focused on who the person is in their history and the importance attributed to the wealth of their memories contributes, at least momentarily, to improved cognitive performances. This will be put in perspective with a neuropsychological evaluation.
