Session 1: Characterization: Mechanical Properties and Surface Morphology
Location: Marco A/B (Orlando Airport Marriott)
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: This symposium covers methods for coating functional thin films on
substrates, novel instrumentation and applications of various analytical
techniques for measuring chemical composition, mechanical properties and
morphology. It features two invited talks, one on microcharacterization
of thin films and coatings and the other on nanometer-scale surface imaging.
