Session 13: Heat Exchangers/Thermal Management
Location: Executive Salon 4 (Crowne Plaza Riverwalk San Antonio)
(Please check final room assignments on-site).
Session Description: One of the single largest uses of brazing technology, as measured by the sheer quantity of braze fillers consumed, is in heat exchange devices and related equipment. Engineers involved in the design and fabrication of heat exchangers or thermal management systems for electronics should attend this session and see some of the latest developments. Presentations include brazing of titanium heat exchangers, fabrication of copper foams, and arc spray application of braze material to copper/brass heat exchanger components.
