This seminar will present the basics of analog circuit analysis. The emphasis will be the major analog circuit building blocks and the analysis that is useful for analog/mixed signal integrated circuit failure analysis. These building blocks include voltage references / regulators, op-amps, and data converters (DAC, A2D). For each block, circuit analysis and possible failure mechanisms will be discussed. Audience are those FA analysts who are new to analog FA or those analysts who would like a refresher on analog circuit analysis.
