Summary:
A unique counterfeit detection system was benchmarked using ICs of different groups that varied solely in changes made to the die. The system performed well in distinguishing the baseline IC from the variants with larger circuit changes. The changes that appeared in the variant of these ICs were minuscule when compared to some of the changes that would appear in counterfeit and non-conforming ICs. Hence indicating that the system would perform great when detecting counterfeit and non-conforming ICs.
