The Capital Equipment Buying Journey in FA Labs

Tuesday, November 18, 2025: 2:10 PM-2:50 PM
Exhibit Hall A&B - Industry Exchange (Pasadena Convention Center)
This session will center on the process, from recognizing a need to running an objective evaluation, comparing solutions, and ultimately building a compelling financial case to justify the investment to upper management.  FA labs are often under pressure, with limited budgets, complex approval chains, and the challenge of balancing innovation with risk. This session creates space for lab professionals to share real-world experiences, challenges, and practical strategies, with the goal of identifying common best practices.

As a pilot effort, this discussion aims to gauge community interest in a future session that addresses the disconnect between technical justification and financial approval in FA labs. Ultimately, it seeks to equip attendees with tools to improve their success rate. This short discussion only aims to provide a sneak peek of the problem statement and session objectives to ensure there is interest, align on the high-level content, and attract future collaborators.
